Weighted Rupee of King Edward VII in 1903

Albert Edward was the King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and the British Dominions, and Emperor of India from 1901 to until his death on 1910. He was well known as King Edward VII. The Edward VII series of coins of India are dated from 1903 to1910. Coins of the King Edward VII are distinct in that the head is uncrowned. Queen Victoria died on 22 January 1901 and Edward's coronation was not held till 9 August 1902. The master dies were created before the coronation; therefore, his coins were not shown wearing the crown. The Rupee of King Edward VII was minted in both Calcutta and Bombay. Six types of one Rupee found in 1903; (1) Calcutta minted rupee with no mint mark, (2) Bombay issued rupee with a small incuse B, (3) Bombay issued rupee with a small raised B, (4) Bombay issued rupee with a "dot" on the stem of the lotus-bud, (5) Calcutta minted four Dots Rupee and (6) Calcutta minted three Dots Rupee. Diameter of one rupee was around 30.6mm with a weight of around 11.58g. These rupees contain around 92% silver. But I found comparatively weighted rupee (13.02g) of 1903 with similar dimensions. I am not sure about the materials but unit weight of silver is greater than copper or iron. It was also not a brass metal. Obverse of this coin is almost similar of silver one rupee but comparatively damaged at Reverse of this coin.

A Rare 1947 OMS Half Rupee

Albert Frederick Arthur George, known as George VI, was born on 14 December 1895 and reigned as King of the United Kingdom and the Dominions of the British Commonwealth from 11 December 1936 until his passing on 6 February 1952. He also held the title of Emperor of India until the British Raj came to an end in August 1947. During the reign of George VI, half rupee coins were produced at the mints in Calcutta, Bombay, and Lahore, featuring compositions that evolved over time—from 91.7% silver to 50% silver, and eventually to nickel. These coins typically weighed between 5.7 and 5.9 grams and measured approximately 24.0 to 24.4 mm in diameter. Initially, from 1938 to 1940 and again in 1946–1947, the coins featured a reeded (milled) edge, while from 1941 to 1945, a security edge was introduced. Copper Quarter Rupees of Shah Alam II

Bengal Province of the British Empire in India which were previously the Presidency of Fort William was familiar as the Bengal Presidency. It covered large parts of what is now South Asia and Southeast Asia at the pick of its territorial jurisdiction. Ali Gohar familiar as Shah Alam II was the seventeenth Mughal Emperor. He was the son of Alamgir II. He became the emperor of a crumbling Mughal empire. His 1 st reign was from10 October 1760 to 31 July 1788 and 2 nd reign was from 16 October 1788 to 19 November 1806. Both semi machine struck and machine struck coins were minted during the period of Shah Alam II in Bengal Presidency. Machine struck silver quarter rupee of 1831 were minted with the name of Farrukhabad. The mint name on the coin was Farrukhabad, but these coins were also struck in Calcutta from 1831 to 1833 with crescent mint mark.
