Small Half Rupee of George V in 1934

George Frederick Ernest Albert, familiar as George V was the King of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions and Emperor of India from 1910 to 1936. He was born during the reign of his grandmother Queen Victoria. He was the second son of Albert Edward, Prince of Wales.

During the reign of George V, silver half Rupee was minted from 1911 to 1919, 1921 to 1930, 1933, 1934 and 1936 with milled edge. It was minted in Calcutta and Bombay. Also, copper-nickel 8 annas (1/2 Rupees) were minted on 1919 and 1920 in circular shape and plain edge.

On 1934, half Rupee was minted only in Calcutta. Diameter was around 24.5 mm, thickness 1.4mm and average weight 5.75g. But I found comparatively small half Rupee of 1934. Diameter was 23.9mm, thickness 1.4mm and significant lower weight of 4.75g. lots of scratches found on this half Rupee with comparatively bad conditions. But obverse and reverse of this small half Rupee was looks like similar as common half Rupee of 1934.
